Picture books are 25 cents and there are all sorts of categories of things (adult fiction, cookbooks, DVDs, on and on....) with prices going up to about $2 for a large hardcover book (this is from my memory, so don't quote me).

The Copper Coins
Thank you everyone who made a side dish and came out to enjoy the sounds of "The Copper Coins", who joined us all the way from Wisconsin last Saturday. As I looked out into the canopy full of old and new friends I felt the summer feel-good community spirit among us.

Special Guests Saturday
Join us on campus this Saturday evening (5/18) for a barbecue and live music from 5-7pm. If you come for dinner please bring a side dish, Emmaus is providing the meat and drinks.
A little bit about the band: The Copper Coins are a 5-member musical group from Grace UCC in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. The group plays a variety of genre – Medieval, Celtic, Renaissance, Bluegrass, Americana, and Gospel. But it’s the variety of instruments they use that is fascinating – lap (mountain) dulcimers, mandolins, tin whistles and flutes, even a washtub bass made from a metal washtub, shovel handle and nylon rope. They will also be playing in Marthasville on Sunday for the 9:00 am church service and the Spring Festival from Noon to 5:00 pm.

Photo Gallery
Time to play "catch up" on sharing photos with you of some recent fun. First is a decorative project, made with stencils, pretty paper and some string. They turned out great so a lot of you took a turn posing with your finished product.
