Try This at Home; Patriotic Craft

If you are getting bored this holiday weekend, consider visiting the craft store for a few supplies and making a patriotic decoration, like these yard stakes.  Click here for a link to the full directions and remember whenever you find an idea like this you can always change it up in ways that work for you.  For example, for this particular project I would choose a shorter word (less wooden letters to pay for!) such as "USA".  Instead of purchasing wood glue and dowels I might just lean the letters on a porch ledge.  You get the idea!

Canned Food Drive

Remember to bring a canned food item as admission to the Summer Dance this Friday evening!  The dance is being hosted by the Volunteer Club (if that's you please come a bit early and plan to stay a bit late) and is from 6:30-8pm in the Activity Center.

Sunday Night Movie

"Movie In" has been rescheduled for SUNDAY EVENING (June 23) at 6pm.  Join us in the Recreation Center to watch "The Impossible" on the big screen.  Refreshments provided.
