Around Town: Kiener Plaza Event on 4/30

On Wednesday April 30th there is some free fun happening in downtown St. Louis at Kiener Plaza, an event called "Be a Tourist in Your Own Town".  All sorts of popular local attractions will have exhibits (what a great way to show someone you support some options of things to do!) from 10a-2pm along with free refreshments and music.  Please note that SAS is not organizing a group to attend, this is just a suggestion of something you might like to do on your own.  Click here for more information.

Happy Easter!

The annual Easter Egg Hunt took place on Palm Sunday.  We were excited to be outdoors for it and relished our last hunt on the East campus before the move.  Middle schoolers from Kirkwood UCC handled the egg filling and hiding and donated prizes (some of the eggs had prize tickets).  Pastor Cindy's daughter also joined in with her helping hands.  Happy Easter everyone!

Easter Craft

Here's an Easter craft that you can do at home with a styrofoam wreath,                                                       and plastic eggs, green grass and glue dots.

CH-CH-CH Changes!

In March, the Easter craft is being moved to Friday March 28 at 6:30pm and the Surprise Sporting Event is now Saturday March 29 at 12pm.

An updated April Calendar is posted here at the bottom of the blog and 'stay tuned' because it will likely continue to change.
Our move date is now set for May 9th.
To avoid even more confusion, the poetry night and flea market are going to remain where we moved them to on April 12th and 19th.  The pile is steadily growing of all sorts of stuff we are giving away for free at the flea market, open to all clients (Emmaus, natural home, and friends supported by other agencies) and staff - don't miss it!!
