Around Town: Christmas Traditions on Main Street in St. Charles

Did you know there are over 40 costumed characters meeting and greeting the public on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Christmas Eve on Main Street?  There are small parades, photo opps and singers too!  Click here for a more detailed schedule of events.  Note that this is not a SAS sponsored group activity, just a suggestion of something you might like to do.  Also note that the area is paved with cobblestone/there are uneven services to be navigated.

Annual Christmas Pageant

THANK YOU to everyone who participated in and came to our annual Christmas Pageant yesterday.  It is very special to see and meet so many family members and friends.  Emmaus' Marketing Manager, Hailey H., did the design for our first-ever screen printed pageant Tshirts and they turned out great!  Our volunteer Pete E. did a tremendous amount of work making costumes and leading the planning process and practice day as well as keeping the actual pageant running smoothly.  With a bit of bias I would say this was one of our best pageants yet!!  Merry Christmas!

Annual Christmas Pageant

Please note that the process for participating in the annual Christmas Pageant is new and improved.  Instead of multiple rehearsal nights, we are having ONE day of rehearsal and preparation.  If you/someone you support wish(es) to be in the pageant then coming to preparation day is a must!!
Pageant Preparation Day:  Saturday 12/6 at DDRB 1025 Country Club Drive from 10am-2pm (bring a sack lunch).  
Pageant Performance:  Sunday 12/7 at DDRB 1025 Country Club Drive at 4pm, participants should arrive a half hour early.

Thanksgiving Luncheon
