The Superbowl

Superbowl is coming up this weekend! Football fans will be cheering for the Baltimore Ravens or San Francisco 49ers and the rest of us will enjoy clever commercials, the half-time show, and FOOD. Kickoff is Sunday February 3d at 5:30pm on NBC.

-Everyone Is Welcome to come to join the fun of watching together in the Activity Center on campus SUNDAY starting at 5pm.

-Make it interesting by placing a BET. Pair up with someone and choose your winner (Ravens or 49ers). Whoever picks the winning team is treated to something (ie. a soda, doing your household chore for you) by the person who chose the loosing team.

-Typical Superbowl Party food are things like pizza, hot wings, sub sandwiches and all sorts of munchies. Make this very easy DIP to share: Mix 16 ounces of sour cream with one packet of Ranch dip (found by the salad dressing). Enjoy with veggies, pretzels or chips.

How to Make Banana Pudding

Click right here for the original recipe from "Kraft" for the banana pudding we had at the January Birthday Party.  In case your link doesn't work here is what to do for this easy, low fat, soft treat:  Pour 3 and 1/2 cups of cold fat free milk into a bowl and add 2 (4 serv size) packs of Jello-O Vanilla fat free sugar free instant pudding.  Whisk is for two minutes and let is stand for five minutes.  Meanwhile arrange about ten vanilla wafers on the bottom of a 2 quart serving dish and drizzle a little milk over them, add a layer of a banana slices and then spread 1/3 of the pudding over it.  Do that two more times (cookies, bananas, pudding) ending with pudding on top.  Spread Cool Whip over the top and refrigerate for a few hours or until you are ready to eat it.  Enjoy!

"A White Christmas" - Pageant Pics (better late than never)

I heard from many audience members that this was our best pageant yet, and I have to (very humbly!) say I agree!!  One of the many helping hands beautifully captured some moments for us:

If you have followed our blog for any amount of time you already know, don't believe the date on the picture.  This annual event is every December.
