Start a Christmas Tradition

If you or someone you are supporting is not yet feeling the Christmas spirit then consider getting involved in/supporting someone in starting a Christmas Tradition.  I personally participate in many traditions each Christmas season and like starting new ones; here's a short list to get your ideas going:

BAKE AND DECORATE CHRISTMAS COOKIES
This can be as simple or complicated as you want it to be!  Click here for directions to make easy peanut butter reindeer.
MAKE A CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN
Cut strips of paper and glue or tape them in loops linked together.  Tear one off each day until you get to Christmas Day.  Take it a step further and write a simple fun activity on each strip like "enjoy a cup of hot chocolate" or "sing your favorite Christmas carol", "watch a Christmas movie", or "read the Christmas story".
SEND OUT CHRISTMAS CARDS
Brighten someone else's Christmas by letting them know you are thinking of them.  Your cards can be handmade or purchased, hand delivered or mailed.
LOOK AT CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
There is a drive through display in O'Fallon; $9 per car (more for a commercial vehicle).  Click here for all the info.
PLAY SANTA
Surprise someone with a gift and even better - make it anonymous!  It can be the littlest thing but done with care will mean so much to someone.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!
